Serving is a core value in the River Ridge Covenant Church family, and many of our people are actively living that out. Below are some of the ministries and organizations in our community with whom we are directly connected or we regularly support financially.

Feeding the Homeless - Once a month we partner with Joyful Hands Ministries to serve the homeless in downtown Olympia. If you would like to join us, contact Pastor Dan.

Family Support Center
– The Family Support Center has opened up a permanent shelter for families in need of emergency housing. They need volunteers (over 18) to staff the shelter overnight from 7 pm to 7 am. For more information, contact the Family Support Center or see Laurie Jones or Jeanne Stockman.

North Thurston School District – Mentors and buddies are needed at several schools. Please contact NTPS at 360-412-4400 or see Brenda McAferty. 

Care Net Pregnancy Center – Helping women and men make God-honoring choices. Call 360-753-0061 or contact Carol Howard.

Kokua Services – Providing supported living services and care for adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed in several areas, including as tutors. For more information ask Pastor Brian.

Truly Motivated Transitional Living – Transitional homes in Yelm for those moving into a life of health and wholeness. Mentors are always needed. Call 360-400-TMTL (8685) or contact Gary or Peg Melhaff.
